8 Ways to Detox Without Fasting, Juicing Or Following Restrictive Diet

Detox is very important for your body as detoxification helps your body flush out toxins and other harmful elements from your body for cells regeneration. However, the major problem with detox is everyone starts doing juice cleansing, fasting, and following a restrictive diet. If you are juicing, fasting and following a restrictive diet, you might be doing more harm to your body than doing good. However, this does not mean you cannot go through detox. There is an alternative method to detox and cleanse your body without juicing, fasting and restrictive diet.

Here are some of the ways you can follow if you want to detox and cleanse your inner body without putting too much stress on your body and mind.

Eat whole food: Detox does not mean you have to start living on juice or vegetable only diet or go through fasting. You can consume whole food and still detox your body. When you eat unprocessed foods, organic food, your body will get vital nutrients naturally. When you are eating natural food, your body will itself go through the detox phase. Say bye-bye to refined carbohydrates and eat whole grains, nuts, and seeds.

Say no to caffeine, sugar, and gluten: Caffeine, sugar, and gluten affect our digestive system and nervous system. The foods that contain caffeine, sugar, and gluten will affect on the natural rhythm of your body, they will drain natural energy from your body. Instead of caffeinated drinks and sugary drinks, drink herbal tea and fresh vegetable and fruit juice.

Drink a lot of water: water is the best drink to detox your body. When you drink a lot of water, toxins will naturally release from your body through sweat or urine. Water also boosts metabolism. Start your day with a glass of water. If you do not have any gastro or acidity problems, you can drink hot lemon or lemonade water.  Hot lemon or lemonade water kills bad bacteria and helps to release harmful elements from your body.

Sleep well: Sleep is very important for your digestive and nervous system. During the sleep, the body begins to repair itself. During your sleep cells will start regeneration. A glass of milk with a pinch of turmeric powder will help you go through good sleep. Avoid sugary and caffeine drinks as these drinks affect your sleep pattern badly.

Eat less, eat frequently: Instead of a large amount of food at one time, eat small quantities of food throughout the day. Chew your food properly as this will not only let you savor the taste but also improves digestion. Avoid snacking junk foods.

Exercise frequently: You do not have to go through an intense workout, you can walk 20-30 minutes a day 4 times a week. Instead of spending long hours exercising, move your body for a couple of minutes throughout the day. You can take a 2 minutes break and do body stretching or breathing exercise. If you are not fond of exercise, you can go hiking, cycling or swimming.

Eat more vegetables and fruits and avoid carbohydrate: Your body, of course, needs carbohydrates; however, your menu already contains a lot of carbohydrates. Restrict on all carbohydrate diet and follow protein diet. Eat plenty of unsaturated fats as fats are good for the body and brain. Include more dietary fiber.

Fight stress: Stress is a major cause of mental problems and it also harms your body. When you are in stressful conditions your body produces more toxins. When you are stressed our, toxins get deposited inside. The toxins and other harmful elements take a toll on your physical and mental health. You can fight stress with meditation, yoga and organic food.
